Kari Butler

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Kari Butler is a MPA candidate at the University of Georgia. With a passion for knowledge and understanding, she is seeking to learn more about the public and nonprofit sectors and how they are interconnected.

 

Originally from Upper Marlboro, MD, she now claims Brunswick, GA as her home. While attending the College of Coastal Georgia, she served as President of the Student Government Association and a local chapter of Rotaract – the young-adult/student version of Rotary International.

 

In the Summer of 2016, Kari completed an internship with The Samaritan Center by writing several successful grants for the organization. She currently works for the University of Georgia School of Law in the Office of Law School Advancement. Her career goal is to improve the impact and success of her community and intends to do so by working to bridge the gap between the public and nonprofit sectors.
