Kaitlin Powers

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

At Michigan State University I studied interdisciplinary social science as a member of the Honors College and graduated with High Honor in 2016. At MSU I completed research regarding the criminal justice system and racial disparities with funding awarded through the Provost Undergraduate Research Initiative. I was also involved in leadership of several students groups on campus and political work. Other experience includes work for a federal agency, a state agency, and state legislature. I am currently MPA student focused in public policy, expected graduation spring 2018, and a Teaching Assistant in the Political Science department at UGA.
