Justin Bolivar

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Justin served in the US Navy for three years as a cryptolinguist and language education support specialist. After his honorable discharge, he continued his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in History.

During his time in Athens he became involved with numerous local activist and political organizations. His work with those groups spurred him to pursue a greater knowledge of organizational management and efficiency, as well as a better understanding of how to assess and implement government policy that assist the underserved and underrepresented of society.

He counts Daniel Ellsberg, Leslie Knope, and his partner Jocelyn Marcus as his greatest inspirations.

Justin currently volunteers as a child mentor and as technical support for local nonprofit Project Safe. He also assists with canvassing and research for the local branch of the Georgia State Democratic Party.
