Joshua Warren

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

I grew up just down the road from Athens where I attended Brookwood High School, and lettered in baseball, cross country, and theater. Upon graduating I had the privilege to continue my baseball career at Columbus State University. During undergraduate at CSU I studied sociology and graduated cum laude in May of 2013. On June 1, 2013, I married my high school sweetheart of 7 years. We now live in Athens, Georgia where we purchased our first home and are proud parents of Labrador/Hound puppy, Cali. I currently work at The University of Georgia and am honored to be a candidate in the highly acclaimed M.P.A. program. I plan to specialize in Public Budget and Finance, and to continue serving the University of Georgia and the Athens area upon obtaining my M.P.A.

Research Interests

At the end of my undergraduate studies I discovered that I carried a passion for budget and finance. After further exploration I became interested in the field of behavioral economics. Through studying Sociology and now currently a candidate for a M.P.A., I plan to specialize in Budget and Finance and continue to explore how these fields intersect and can affect public service.
