More About

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Science at Universita Degli Studi Roma Tre in Rome (Italy), I relocated to the United States and successfully completed a Master’s degree in Political Science at Southern Illinois University. I have also served there as a graduate research assistant. In my third and final semester, I defended my master’s report on the electoral success of the radical right in Europe. I have also been given a chance to co-author a paper on the impact of public opinion on the decisions of the constitutional courts in Europe with Professor Benjamin Bricker, for whom I worked as a research assistant. After a short stay back home in Prague, I returned back to the United Stated to pursue my doctoral studies at the University of Georgia.

Research Interests

My research interests focus on European politics, specifically radical right parties, voting behavior, and electoral systems. Additionally, I am interested in comparative constitutional law.
