Cana Carroll

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Cana Carroll is a second year MPA student at the University of Georgia and a proud double dawg. She credits Athens and SPIA with developing her love of the public sector and helping others.

 

Throughout her time in Athens, she has worked several internships which cumulated in her most recent involvement with The Cancer Foundation, where she acted as a volunteer co-manager for 200+ individuals. Cana is currently a graduate research assistant at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. She researches pre-college access programs and best practices for college coaches.

Research Interests

Cana Carroll is an MPA candidate at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on equal access to higher education and related opportunities. Cana believes that public school systems, nonprofits, and higher education institutions can create partnerships which increase college attendance rates.
