As associate director of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government’s Governmental Training, Education, and Development Division, Stacy Jones manages the division’s faculty and staff and also facilitates community engagement, strategic planning, and goal-setting sessions. The division provides state and local government clients with training in leadership, management, finance, customer service, public administration, and strategic planning. the division also manages certificate programs for associations representing government employees and elected officials such as the Association of County Commissioners Goergia, Georgia City – County Clerk’s Associations, Georgia Association of Code Enforcement, the State Department of Corrections, and the Georgia Municipal Association. Prior to joining the University of Georgia, Stacy worked for the City of Conyers, the Monroe Downtown Development Authority, Health Management Associates (NYSE: HMA), and a technology services provider for local governments. Stacy has served for over six years at the Institute of Government.
