Dr. Bass retired from the State of Georgia after working for 26 years for the Board of Pardons and Paroles. Since 2013 he has served as a part-time faculty member at Georgia Gwinnett College teaching criminal justice courses.

Favorite Hangout: My favorite Athens hangout is Hendershots for several reasons: I can walk there, the music starts early, more often than many other places there is music I enjoy, and I like the atmosphere.
Favorite Getaway: I went home to Columbus, GA.
